In my opinion, organizations need to embrace the notion that during periods of change it is critical to insure that policies and procedures are in place to identify individuals contaminated with “Zero Order, Racist Agenda Narcissized (ZORAN) Syndrome” as a by product of significant change.
It is important for organizations to acknowledge that during periods of change, the greatest risk to successful change is posed by contamination of the mass with “Zero Order, Racist Agenda Narcissized (ZORAN) Syndrome” as opposed to an “Intelligent Versatile Aboveboard Neutralized (IVAN) Syndrome”.
In this New World Order (NWO) where there are persistent changes, be it through mergers and acquisitions or restructurings and reorganizations, the only constant which is assured over time is that of change. In order to be able to compete in this New World Order (NWO), there is one of two generic techniques.
The first technique which I refer to as “Zero Order, Racist Agenda Narcissized (ZORAN) Syndrome” is predicated on the notion that when one feels threatened, in either fact or appearance, of losing their job, their home, their family, their wealth or any other “Raison D’Être”, one’s innate savage survival instincts tend to kick in, whereby one becomes frustrated with the change, to the point that one may show signs of zero order resulting in a racist agenda predicated on narcissistic tendencies of “For Me, For Myself and For I”.
For example, if one feels uncomfortable with the Change Leader because the proposed changes are contrary to one’s personal preferences, one may commence to disturb one’s environment by deviating from the path of change by creating zero order during the period of change or in simple English, “One may start to cause trouble”.
Further to this example, one may decide to throw the race card into the equation whereby one cannot accept any responsibility for one feeling uncomfortable with the underlying change itself, such that one will blame the Change Leader of being racist, whereas in actuality one is racist against the Change Leader.
Taking this example one step further, one may develop a racist agenda against the Change Leader in order to camouflage one’s subconscious goal of taking the Change Leader out because one does not like the Change Leader’s route.
Further taking this example to the extreme, one may become a narcissist whereby one starts to twist and turn the underlying facts and circumstances against the Change Leader in order to get one’s fellow colleagues aboard the train of “chop the Change Leader’s head”.
As is evident from my Hyperboles above, this type of approach is destructive, counterproductive and chaotic by its nature. For the record, Hyperbole is defined as the use of exaggeration as a rhetorical device or figure of speech. Hyperboles may be used to evoke strong feelings or to create strong impressions but they are not meant to be taken literally.
Now I would like to focus on the second technique which I refer to as “Intelligent Versatile Aboveboard Neutralized (IVAN) Syndrome” whereby one does not need to revert to a barbaric “Zero Order, Racist Agenda Narcissized (ZORAN) Syndrome” approach because one is confident that one’s intelligence will overcome one’s adversaries, combined with one’s versatility to control the multiple tentacles of change, with a straight shooting above board speech, which ultimately leads to the neutralization of the resistance which clings to the past like a blood-sucking leech.
In summary, I refer to “Change Management Gangnam THE ROCK Style” as the belief that Hyperboles best illustrate that “Zero Order, Racist Agenda Narcissized (ZORAN) Syndrome” requires an “Intelligent Versatile Aboveboard Neutralized (IVAN)” Leader with straight shooting above board speech to control blood-sucking leech.
