Christiano će tijekom vremena naučiti da u razdobljima promjene organizacije trebaju promicati četiri stupa života: «Bog; Posao; Obitelj i Ja» za napredovati jer inače uvijek će se skloniti regresirati, jer kad novac postane Bog, sav će pakao imati tendenciju da se razbije stvarajući nepodnošljivi stres.
In my opinion, organizations need to embrace the notion that during periods of change it is critical to insure that there continues to be an adequate “work/ life balance”.
It is important for organizations to acknowledge that when an organization is running at an ideal “commitment level”, the organization is breeding an effective, efficient, convivial, motivating, stimulating and focused environment that is maximizing the organization’s return on investment.
However, when an organization is running at an overdrive “commitment level” on a perpetual long-term basis, employees tend to commence to fall apart leading to diminishing rates of return per hour worked.
In a society where everybody is asked to do more with less, organizations should never forget that there are only around 700 hours in a month which is pretty much chewed up by work, family and sleep such that there’s really not that much time left over for oneself which is often the root of the problem of chaos in the workplace leading to employees falling apart.
Therefore, the only viable and sustainable long-term solution is to foster a work environment predicated on what I refer to as the four pillars of life, “God; Work; Family and Self”.
That is, the best way for an organization to run at an ideal “commitment level” is to promote the four pillars of life on a perpetual long-term basis such that if one pillar is ever lost, the other three pillars will be able to sustain the individual and indirectly an organization on a perpetual long-term basis.
Although many organizations find it taboo to promote the notion of God, it is important to note that without the notion of God, there is no notion of morals, values, principals and ethics in the workplace. In my opinion, without the notion of God in the workplace, there tends to be conflict and chaos.
The religion one chooses to practice is not the problem as all religions promote good morals, values, principals and ethics. The problem is when nobody practices any religion because then money becomes God and religion at the expense of morals, values, principals and ethics.
In summary, I refer to “Change Management Gangnam THE ROCK Style” as the belief that organizations need to promote the four pillars of life, “God; Work; Family and Self” to progress otherwise invariably they will tend to regress as when money becomes God, all hell will tend to break loose creating unbearable stress.
