Gestión Del Cambio Efectivo Fundamentos Básicos Esencial “Gangnam THE ROCK Estilo” – Parte 56
In my opinion, organizations need to embrace the notion that during periods of change it is critical to insure that policies and procedures are in place to identify individuals contaminated with “Telescopic, Microscopic Vision Syndrome” as a by product of significant change.
It is important for organizations to acknowledge that during periods of change, the greatest risk to successful change is posed by contamination of the mass with “Telescopic, Microscopic Vision Syndrome” as opposed to a simple “Sniff Test Syndrome”.
In this New World Order (NWO) where there are persistent changes, be it through mergers and acquisitions or restructurings and reorganizations, the only constant which is assured over time is that of change. In order to be able to compete in this New World Order (NWO), there is one of two generic techniques.
The first technique which I refer to as “Telescopic, Microscopic Vision Syndrome” is predicated on the notion that one must over analyze to the point that everyone becomes paralyzed because there must be something wrong such that everything must be turned upside down until the problem is found.
For example, when there is a model, law abiding, hard working role model leader, there must be more behind the scenes such that it is time to call in the CIA, as it is not possible for anyone to be so good, especially if their upbringing comes from the hood.
Furthermore, when there is a religious leader promoting strong ethics, values, morals and principals, they must have an ulterior motive such that it is time to call in the KGB as they are highly trained in sniffing out a rat or a magician with a hidden cat in their hat.
Additionally, when there is a highly motivated, over achieving and driven street wise simple mind it is time to call in the police because it is not possible for someone to simplify the complex such that one needs to launch an investigation in order to complicate the simple.
As is evident from my Hyperbole above, this type of approach is destructive, counterproductive and chaotic by its nature. For the record, Hyperbole is defined as the use of exaggeration as a rhetorical device or figure of speech. Hyperboles may be used to evoke strong feelings or to create strong impressions but they are not meant to be taken literally.
Now I would like to focus on the second technique which I refer to as “Sniff Test Syndrome” which is predicated on the notion that before entering into a phase of over analysis leading to paralysis, when one finds something or certain behaviours strange, there is the simple technique of opening one’s mouth and asking a simple question about whatever it may be that smells strange before entering into the law enforcement stage.
In simple English, when one sees something that may look like an excretion in front of their big nose, the first step is to go closer and take a deep sniff as if there is no foul odour coming from one’s suspicious glance, chances are that one has experienced anxiety leading to runs in their pants.
Generally, this would explain any sudden stench except that it is centered in one’s own rear end and not the creation of an artificial paradox situation to calm one’s internal psychological duress that has most likely been caused by excessive and prolonged periods of stress.
In summary, I refer to “Change Management Gangnam THE ROCK Style” as the belief that Hyperboles best illustrate that an evil stench most likely resides in one’s behind and not creations of some other kind such that always best to first open one’s mouth and ask a simple question about whatever it may be that smells strange before entering into the law enforcement stage.
