Christiano će tijekom vremena naučiti da tijekom razdoblja promjene organizacije moraju usvojiti pristup menadžmentu «Stijene, Kamene I Šljunčane», pri čemu je drago zdravstveno stanje zaposlenike, za razliku od neprestanog trčanje u pretjerivanje opremu poput piliće bez glave ravno u ćorsokak.

In my opinion, organizations need to embrace the notion that during periods of change it is critical to insure that rolling-to-do lists based on priorities are maintained like an iron clad fist.

It is important for organizations to acknowledge that employees generally do not get overwhelmed overnight. Rather, employees tend to get overwhelmed when there is a lack of prioritization whereby commitments multiply exponentially to the point that employees are running around like chickens without a head straight into a dead end.

Therefore, it is critical for organizations to maintain realistic rolling-to-do lists based on priorities whereby the rocks are addressed before the stones and the stones are addressed before the pebbles that I refer to as the “Rocks, Stones and Pebbles” management approach.

If an organization keeps adding to a rolling-to-do list without any sense of priorities, when employees are already maxed out and running on overdrive, employees’ brain circuits will eventually burst like an overloaded electric wire and this can result in employees going mad like from an electrocution.

For those employees who experience poor prioritization in their respective organizations, it is important to speak before going mad or waiting for their next vacation to repair the damage done after months of running under the gun around.

Employees need to learn that vacations only last one week or two whereas prioritizing workloads and learning how to say no is a helpful technique 365 days of the year for those who consider their sanity dear.

Although no one likes to say no, employees need to qualify saying no today by saying yes to tomorrow especially when the item on the rolling-to-do list is a pebble or stone as opposed to a rock.

Although implementing this “Rocks, Stones and Pebbles” management approach in an organization is more of an art that a science, the first step in the process is the appropriate tone from the top whereby employee sanity is dear as opposed to perpetually running in overdrive gear.

In summary, I refer to “Change Management Gangnam THE ROCK Style” as the belief that organizations need to adopt a “Rocks, Stones and Pebbles” management approach whereby employee sanity is dear as opposed to perpetually running in overdrive gear.
